Dear prospective buyer, All of the horses listed below are located at SpindleTop Farm in Castroville/La Coste, Texas. If you would like to arrange to see and try the horses to purchase, please email at HingstarSTF@live.com. We do not allow off site trail periods on our sales horses due to insurance reasons, but you are more than welcome to come and stay as long and as many times as you need to feel comfortable or get to know the horse you are looking at. We are very upfront and honest about our horse sales and disclose all that we know of our sales prospects. We know how frustrating the sales process can be and want to make it as easy as possible and make a good match for our horses. We are located in a small historic Alsatian town just 45 min from the San Antonio airport full of lovely Bed and Breakfasts, Hotels, Day Spa's, 18 hole golf courses and wonderful restaurants within 5 mins of our farm. STF Ghirardelli (Ghiri) Click on Pedigree - http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/ghiri Ghiri is a branded BWP 2006 Gelding sired by Cielo B (Simsalibim x Jus de Pomme x Ahorn) out of Noble Mary Bush xx. This young gelding carries proven bloodlines for jumping but shows the basic gaits needed for decent scores in dressage for an AA or Youth. 100% sound, never been sick or lame a day in his life. He should mature to 16.3+ish. He has been lightly started under saddle and is still in a growth stage, so we are taking it slow. He accepts tack, rider and understand forward and now is ready for a real job. He has yet to buck or rear under saddle, but he is best suited for a rider with experience at this point in training. Notice - 1/25/2010 We have started Ghiri out over small fences and cross rails. New video to come under saddle. 2/19/10 - Due to the rains, we got set back on Ghiri's under saddle work. Everything has been underwater and muddy. Ghiri is still coming along well and now has both canter leads under saddle. He is still suitable for a experienced rider who has the ability to bring a young horse along, but is def. ready for a career. This is a fancy baby with a lot to offer in the dressage ring. His gaits are very impressive, his conformation is very correct and he has "the look" that gets noticed. We expect him to mature to 16.2+ and be of elegant type and build. He also has the bloodlines for the big jumps and does show natural ability jumping in the fields (logs, poles, etc). This colt carries some of the most prove Swedish Warmblood bloodlines for dressage. His sire is one of the most proven producers in the US of SWB foals to score consistently in the top ranking at inspection. His grandsire Amiral was Kyra Kryklunds Olympic Grand Prix stallion that stood at Flyinge and shortly in the US before his death. His dam is sired by Grand Canyon, who carries the old proven Hanoverian lines of Graphit x Lombard which follow into the stallions of those of Grannus and Lanthan. He is correct, naturally muscled and we see him as a super prospect for the dressage ring. He is fearless, curious, easy to work with and loves human attention. Due April 2010 - Unammed Rubignon x Siegi x Veneziano This foal is offered for sale in Utero for $8500 with a live foal guarantee. After foaling price will be 10,000. This un-named foal carries several generations of proven dressage bloodlines on the sire as well as the dam side of the pedigree. Rubignon comes from the superior and well known lines of Rubinstein x Donnerhall x Pik Solo. Siegi is sired by the late Veneziano (Trakehner) who was by Gunter Stern. Siegi has had two past foals, one by Paparazzo (Pablo) and one colt by Don Schufro (Donnerhall). This is a very nice cross to have in your barn.
